Over the course of two years, a fellow artist Lene Krogh and I embarked on a collaborative project where we created and exchanged a watercolor painting each week.

During the first year, the paintings were inspired by something we had experienced or been particularly focused on that week. In the second year, we alternated in selecting a theme for each painting. Personally, I’m particularly drawn to animals and trees in my work, which often featured in my contributions.

This process took us in many creative directions, allowing us to truly experiment with and explore the possibilities of watercolor as a medium.
